Not Sure What Size to Order
Bracelets, anklets, chokers and necklaces are pretty much the same just assembled to different lengths depending on the person's size. During the past 10 years I have sold every ¼” increment of from 5" to 12 1/2" for either bracelets or anklets. Sure I could make standard sizes only but that would make so very many of you unhappy because 'it' just wouldn't fit. So let me give you a few tips to help you decide what length to buy, whether it be for you or for some one else.
Ladies Bracelets: Extra small: 6” Small: 6 ½” Standard, Medium, Average: 7” Large: 7 ½” to 8” Extra large: 8 ½”
Ladies Anklets: Extra small:8 ½” Small: 9” Standard, Medium, Average: 9 ½” Large: 10 to 10 ½” Extra large: 10 ½” to 11” Double Extra Large: 11 to 12”
Ladies Chokers: Extra Small: 10” Small: 11” Standard, Medium, Average: 12” Large: 13” to 14” Extra Large 15” to 16”
Ladies Necklaces: Small 14", Standard, Medium, Average 16", Large 18", Extra Large 20"
Mens bracelets: Small: 7” Standard, Medium, Average: 8” Large: 8 ½” Extra Large: 9”
Mens anklets: Small: 9” to 9 ½” Standard, Medium, Average: 10” Large: 10 1/2 to 11” Extra Large: 11” to 12”
Small childrens bracelets: 5” to 7”
Small childrens anklets: 6” to 9”
Childrens chokers: Small: 9” Standard, Medium, Average: 10” to 11” Large: 11” to 12”
Fitting children is tricky. Some can have adult sized wrists and ankles with out the height and some have smaller than average wrists and ankles even if they are over weight or large for their age. The same goes for adults.
You can measure jewelry you already have or you can tie a piece of yarn or heavy cord to the desired tightness. Tighten the knot then cut the cord and measure. |
